How does Invest work?

When someone signs up for Invest the Invest pack is sent out to the individual and a mentor is assigned. We try to find someone who is local if possible, but this is not always practical.

The mentor will make contact in the first couple of weeks.

The participant should then begin the Bible reading scheme, the first book, the verse cards and the first recorded talk. To help plan through the scheme in the year we include a planning sheet that should mean you finish the scheme within one year.

The first recording is included with the pack when this has been completed a request slip is sent to the office and the next recording is sent.

The ideal is that the mentor will meet up with participant through the year to pray, encourage and help with progress on the scheme. The Bible Study notes could be read with the mentor or content of books discussed. Each mentoring relationship is different, but they all have the purpose of encouraging and helping Christians in their walk with the Lord.

Invest is not a short cut to Christian growth. It is a tool which can be used to help a person who wants to grow in their faith but is unsure where to start.
